Home Massage in Bur Dubai A DHA-Licensed Therapist at Your Door, Day or Night

A licensed therapist comes to your flat in Mankhool, Al Raffa, Al Fahidi, Al Hamriya or anywhere else in Bur Dubai, with the table, the oils and the linens. Sessions start at AED 400. We work twenty-four hours, which in this part of the city matters more than it does in most.

Pay in cash — in any currency you happen to have — or by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Botim or Ziina. Nothing is taken up front.

Bur Dubai Works Standing Up

Most of Dubai’s massage market is built around people who sit. Office workers in the towers, drivers on Sheikh Zayed Road, desks and screens and chairs.

Bur Dubai is not that.

This is a district of shops, salons, restaurants, hotels, workshops and the textile trade around Meena Bazaar. A very large share of the people living here spend their working day upright — on a shop floor, behind a counter, on their feet in a kitchen, walking a hotel corridor, or standing in a bazaar unit for ten hours with one break. Six days a week, frequently more.

Standing for long periods can create a different pattern of muscle fatigue, stiffness, and discomfort from sitting all day.  And it is not the same damage that sitting does. It is also badly under-treated, because the people carrying it are usually the ones with the least convenient schedule for getting to a spa and the least appetite for paying resort prices to do it.

That is the gap this service exists to close. Same licensed therapists, same equipment, same standard of treatment brought to your flat at a time that works around your shift rather than against it.

What Standing All Day Does, From the Feet Up

Work through it in order. Whatever is worst is where the session should be weighted, and you can say exactly that when you book.

Feet and arches. Ten hours on a tiled shop floor in unsupportive shoes loads the plantar fascia continuously. The classic sign is pain in the heel or arch that is worst with the first few steps in the morning and eases as you move. Direct work through the sole, the calf, and the Achilles usually brings noticeable relief, and it is one of the fastest-responding complaints we treat.

Calves and Achilles. Standing keeps the calf in low-grade contraction all day without ever taking it through full range. Over months, it shortens and tightens, which pulls on both the heel below and the knee above. This is the single most commonly neglected area in people who work on their feet.

A note if you have varicose veins: tell your therapist before the session. Direct pressure over varicose veins is avoided in proper practice — a trained therapist will work around them and adjust the technique rather than skip the area entirely. Any therapist who does not ask is one you should question.

Knees and hips. Long static standing loads the joints without the pumping action that walking provides. Hip flexors and the iliotibial band tighten, and the glutes switch off from disuse despite being upright all day. Deep tissue massage through the hips and lateral thigh addresses this directly.

Lower back. The most common complaint we hear in Bur Dubai. Standing with a slight forward lean — over a counter, a cutting table, a sewing machine, a till — loads the lumbar erectors and the quadratus lumborum for hours at a time without rest. It builds slowly, becomes constant, and people put up with it for years.

Shoulders, neck and upper back. Reaching, lifting stock, carrying, holding a phone, working with arms raised. Upper trapezius and levator scapulae take it, and the tension climbs into the neck and the base of the skull, where it often turns into headaches.

Hands and forearms. Rarely treated and often the most rewarding. Cutting, folding, stitching, gripping, chopping, styling hair, handling cash — repetitive gripping tightens the forearm flexors and extensors and can produce elbow pain that has nothing to do with the elbow. Ask for forearm and hand work to be included. Most people have never had it and are surprised by the difference.

If you want one recommendation for this whole pattern, it is a 90-minute deep tissue session weighted to the legs and lower back. If you find deep tissue too intense, Balinese massage does similar work at a gentler pressure. If you are more exhausted than sore, Swedish massage is the better choice it is aimed at bringing the nervous system down rather than at breaking up tissue.

Booking Around a Shift

The twenty-four-hour service is not a marketing line here. It is the main reason people in Bur Dubai can use us at all.

Finishing late. If your shift ends at eleven or midnight, that is when we come. A midnight booking costs exactly the same as a midday one — no night surcharge, ever.

One day off. Many people here get a single day a week. Book it early in the day, and you still have the rest of the day. We are available from the first hours of the morning.

Before an early start. A 6 am session before a shift is unusual but entirely possible, and it works well for people whose pain is worst first thing.

Short notice is fine. Most bookings are confirmed within thirty minutes, and a therapist is usually with you inside sixty to ninety. You do not need to plan a week ahead.

Older Buildings, Small Lifts, Narrow Streets

Bur Dubai’s housing stock is different from the towers, and we work here constantly, so none of the following causes any difficulty.

No registration needed in most buildings. Your therapist comes up as any visitor would. Some buildings have a watchman who prefers to know a word from you handles it.

Small lifts and walk-ups are not a problem. The massage table folds flat and is carried like a large case. It fits in the older, smaller lifts throughout Mankhool, Al Raffa and Al Souk Al Kabeer, and it goes up stairs without difficulty if your building has no lift. Tell us the floor and whether there is a lift so the therapist knows what to expect.

Parking is the real constraint. Bur Dubai streets are narrow, congested and heavily paid-parking zoned, and it is worse in the evening near BurJuman and Meena Bazaar. Give us your building name and the nearest landmark when you book. Our therapists know this district and will factor it into the arrival time rather than being late because of it.

Give us a landmark, not just an address. Building names repeat across Bur Dubai, and addresses can be vague. “Behind BurJuman”, “near Al Fahidi metro”, “off Kuwait Street” gets a therapist to your door faster than a street number will.

Arrival is unremarkable. Professional clothing, a folded table, a bag. The therapist arrives professionally dressed with a folded massage table and treatment bag.

Paying

Nothing is taken in advance. You pay when the session is finished, by whichever method suits you.

Cards and wallets:

Visa and Mastercard, credit or debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe payment link or Zina if you would rather not hand over a card.

Transfers:

Botim, Ziina, or direct bank transfer.

Cash, in any currency.

Dirhams obviously, but also US dollars, pounds sterling, euros, Indian rupees, Australian and New Zealand dollars, and essentially any other world currency. Useful if you have just arrived, have guests staying, or simply have foreign notes sitting in a drawer from the last trip.

Ask your therapist if you want a receipt.

Space, and Sharing

A table needs about two metres by two metres of clear floor. A one-bedroom or studio in Bur Dubai handles that once a table or chair is moved aside, and the bedroom is usually easier than the living room.

If you share the flat, book a time when you have the room to yourself early morning before others wake, or during the day if you work nights. Tell us your situation at booking, and we will work around it rather than you having to explain at the door.

Nothing needs to be provided. Table, oils, fresh linens and music all come with the therapist. Shower beforehand if you have come straight from a shift, drink water, avoid a heavy meal in the hour before, and mention any injury, surgery, pregnancy, high blood pressure, varicose veins or medication affecting circulation when you book. A short consultation happens before the session in any case.

If You Are Visiting Al Fahidi, Al Seef or the Souks

Bur Dubai is where most people come to see the old city, and it is a walking district. Al Fahidi’s lanes, the textile souk, the creekside at Al Seef, the abra across to Deira — a full day of it covers a great deal of ground, much of it on uneven stone in heat.

If you are staying in one of Bur Dubai’s hotels or guesthouses and your feet and back have had enough, we come to your room with the full setup. Same prices as a resident pays, no tourist rate, no hotel spa premium, and we are available long after a hotel spa has closed for the night. Send your hotel name and room number when you book.

Drink water before the session rather than after. A day walking in Dubai heat dehydrates you more than you think, and dehydration is the usual reason someone feels light-headed afterwards.

Your Therapist

A massage depends on being understood. Your therapist needs to know where the pain is, how much pressure is right, what to avoid, and where your limits are. If that conversation is difficult, the treatment quietly gets worse you say less than you should, the therapist adjusts less than they should, and you get less than you paid for.

Bur Dubai is home to some of the longest-established communities in the city, and we match therapists to them. Our team includes therapists trained in Indian, Filipino, Thai, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and European traditions, and you can ask for a therapist who speaks your language when you book. For most people here, that is not a small preference — it is the difference between a session that works and one that does not.

Before anything is confirmed, you receive the therapist’s name, photograph, specialisation and DHA licence number. Every number is published on our therapist page so you can check it yourself before anyone comes to your home. No other home massage service in Dubai appears to publish them.

The therapist named in your confirmation is the therapist who arrives. If it is someone else, send them away; you owe nothing.

Making the Booking

Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the treatment and length, your building and the nearest landmark, the floor, the time you want, and whether you would prefer a male or female therapist and a particular language.

Within about thirty minutes, you get the name, photo, specialisation, DHA licence number, and an arrival estimate. Nothing is confirmed until you say yes.

Your therapist arrives with the table, oils, fresh linens and music, sets up in a few minutes, runs a short consultation, and delivers the session. Afterwards you get straightforward aftercare — water, one or two stretches suited to what they found, and an honest view on whether this needs repeating or was a one-off.

Why Us

The licence numbers are published. Every home massage service in Dubai says its therapists are DHA-licensed. We put the numbers where you can check them.

The full price list is on this page. No quote-on-request, no night surcharge, no travel fee, no upsell once the therapist is in your home.

You choose the therapist before they arrive. Name, photo, specialisation, language.

You pay how you want, when it is finished. Cash in any currency, card, wallet or transfer — nothing before.

We are a team, not an app. Booking platforms pass you to whoever accepts the job. We vet our therapists and stand behind them, and if a session is not up to standard, we rebook you free.

90-minute deep tissue session weighted towards the feet, calves, hips and lower back. If deep tissue feels too intense, Balinese massage does comparable work at a gentler pressure. If you are more exhausted than sore, Swedish is the better choice.
