Home Massage in Al Quoz: A DHA-Licensed Therapist at Your Door, 24/7
Sessions from AED 400, any hour of any day, anywhere in Al Quoz: the villas and apartments of Al Quoz 1, 2 and 3, and the studio and workshop units across the industrial areas. Table, oils and fresh linens arrive with the therapist.
Whether you live here or simply spend your working life here, the section below is the one worth reading. It is about your hands, which is the part of almost everybody in this district that never gets touched.
This Is Where Dubai Makes Things
Most of the city sells, serves, or administers. Al Quoz builds.
Behind the roller shutters along these streets there are joineries, upholsterers, spray booths, metal shops, marble and stone yards, print houses, framers, sign makers, car workshops and the fabricators who put together half the interiors in this city. Around Alserkal Avenue there are painters, sculptors, photographers and designers working out of converted warehouses. And in among all of it, in units that used to hold pallets, there are now padel courts, boxing gyms and studios.
Every one of those is a job done with the hands.
Which is why this page is organised the way it is. Almost everyone who works in Al Quoz has a specific, identifiable pattern of tightness running from the fingers to the shoulder, and almost none of them have ever had a single minute of work done on it because massage is sold as backs and shoulders, and nobody thinks to ask for anything else.
What Have Your Hands Been Doing All Day?
Find yours. Then tell us at booking, because it changes where the hour goes.
A power tool
Grinders, sanders, drills, saws, breakers. Hours of vibration transmitted straight into the hands and forearms, with a grip held tight the whole time to control the tool.
What you notice is forearms that feel full and hard by the evening, a grip that is weaker than it should be when you pick up a cup, and hands that buzz or tingle for a while after you stop. Working through the forearms, the base of the thumb, and the hands helps a great deal and takes about fifteen minutes of a session.
One thing worth saying plainly: if the buzzing or numbness is still there the next morning, or it wakes you at night, see a doctor about it. Persistent numbness after years around vibrating tools is not something to work around with massage.
A chisel, a brush, a needle, a stylus
Fine, sustained, precise work. Carvers, upholsterers, framers, jewellers, painters, retouchers, tattooists, anyone doing detail work for hours.
Precision grip is quieter than power grip and more relentless. The forearm never fully lets go, the base of the thumb takes a constant load, and the shoulder holds the arm in position the entire time so the hand can stay steady. People in this category almost always have one side dramatically tighter than the other and have stopped noticing.
A spray gun, or anything above your head
Spraying, fitting, ceiling work, hanging a show, painting a high wall, working on a lift.
Holding the arms above shoulder height is one of the most demanding positions there is, and it is the shoulders, the upper back and the neck that pay for it rather than the arms. Add looking up for long stretches and the base of the skull tightens as well. If your work has you overhead regularly, a session weighted to the shoulders, upper back and neck is the highest-value hour you can book.
The underside of a car
Mechanics get their own entry because the position is genuinely punishing. Lying on your back with both arms raised, holding tools up against gravity, head tilted forward off the floor to see what you are doing, often for long stretches.
That loads the front of the shoulders, the chest, the neck and the upper back all at once, and it is the reverse of the pattern most people carry, which means most therapists are not expecting it. Say “I’m a mechanic” when you book, and the session gets planned properly.
A padel bat
Padel has taken over half the warehouses in this district and the bodies of everyone playing it three times a week.
The pattern is lateral and sudden. Stop-start movement loads the calves, the Achilles and the hips in a way running does not. Overhead smashes load the shoulder. The wrist takes the impact of every shot, and the forearm on your playing side will be noticeably tighter than the other within a few months of starting.
Ninety minutes weighted to the calves, hips and playing-side shoulder and forearm, booked a day after a heavy session rather than the same night.
A keyboard, a mouse, and a phone
The other half of Al Quoz studio managers, designers, gallery staff, the office side of every workshop in the district.
Same story in a quieter register. One shoulder slightly raised, the mouse-side forearm tight, the neck held forward, the thumb doing more work than anything that small should. Sixty minutes kept above the waist, and mention which hand you use.
The Part Nobody Ever Works On
Here is the thing that makes the difference in this district, and it is almost never asked for.
Ask for your forearms and hands to be included. Say it in your WhatsApp message and say it again when the therapist asks what to focus on.
Almost nobody does. Massage gets sold as backs and shoulders; people book backs and shoulders, and the forearms, which in a district like this are doing more work than any other muscle group in the body, get twenty seconds on the way past. Work through the forearm, the palm, the base of the thumb, and each finger takes about ten to fifteen minutes, and the response from people who do manual work for a living is consistently the strongest we get to anything.
It is also the work that changes the next working day rather than just the evening. A back that has been loosened feels good. Hands that have been loosened grip better.
What to book. Ninety minutes is the honest recommendation for anyone doing physical work, weighted to the forearms, shoulders, and upper back, with whatever is left going to the lower back. Deep tissue if the tightness has been building for years, Balinese if you want firm work that is easier to lie through. Sixty is fine on a budget; just tell us which area matters most so the hour goes there.
If something is sharply painful rather than tight, if a joint has stopped moving properly, or if numbness persists overnight, see a doctor before booking a massage. We are a spa service, and there is a line where that is not the right call.
Getting to You in Al Quoz
Al Quoz is two districts wearing one name, and they need different information.
Villas and apartments in Al Quoz 1, 2 and 3. Straightforward: the address plus a location pin. Some of the residential streets here are not well signed and the numbering is not obvious, so the pin does the work.
Studio and workshop units. Give us the warehouse or unit number and the street, plus the nearest recognisable landmark: Alserkal Avenue, a particular showroom, the closest exit off Sheikh Zayed or Al Khail. Unit numbering across the industrial areas follows no logic that a visitor can reconstruct, and it is the single most common cause of a delay here.
If you are booking at a workplace rather than a home, tell us we will check there is a private space with a door before we confirm, rather than turning up and finding there is not.
Parking is easy almost everywhere in Al Quoz, which is one of the few genuine advantages this district has over the rest of the city.
Access. Most buildings need nothing arranged. The table folds flat and is carried like a large case, so lifts and stairs are both fine. Villas need nothing at all beyond the address.
Arrival is unremarkable. Professional clothing, a folded table, a kit bag. Nothing about it draws attention.

Somewhere to Put the Table
Two metres by two metres of clear floor. A villa has it several times over, an apartment manages it once a coffee table is moved, and a studio unit usually has more floor than anywhere else in the city.
The quietest space beats the largest. If you are in a unit rather than a home, a room with a door matters more than square metres.
Nothing needs providing; table, oils, fresh sanitised linens and music all arrive with the therapist. Shower first if you have come straight from work, drink water, skip a heavy meal in the hour before, and mention any injury, recent surgery, pregnancy, high blood pressure, varicose veins or medication affecting circulation when you book.
One that is specific to this district: if you have a cut, a burn, a fresh graze or anything still healing on your hands or arms, say so. The area is simply avoided, and the rest of the session goes ahead normally. It does not stop the booking, and it is not worth cancelling over.
Saying What You Need
A massage works better when you can talk properly to the person giving it — where it hurts, how much pressure, what to leave alone, when something is too much. If that conversation is hard work, the session quietly gets worse, because you say less than you should and the therapist adjusts less than they should.
Our team includes therapists trained in Indian, Filipino, Nepali, Thai, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and European traditions, and you can request a language when you book. In a district as mixed as this one, that request gets made often, and it is never a problem.
Before you confirm anything, you receive the therapist’s name, photograph, specialisation and DHA licence number. Every number is published on our therapist page so you can check it yourself. Every home massage service in Dubai claims DHA-licensed therapists; as far as we can find, none of the others will show you the numbers.
The person named in your confirmation is the person who arrives. If someone else turns up, turn them away, and you owe nothing.
How You Book
Message us on WhatsApp with the treatment and length, your address or unit number plus a location pin, the time you want, and whether you would prefer a male or female therapist and a particular language.
And tell us what you do. Not for conversation because “I spray for a living” or “I’m on a grinder all day” or “I play padel three times a week” changes how the hour is planned before the therapist has even arrived. It is the most useful sentence in the whole message.
Confirmation comes back in about thirty minutes with the name, photograph, specialisation, DHA licence number and an arrival estimate. Nothing is booked until you reply.
Afterwards you get plain aftercare water, a stretch or two that actually fits the work you do, and an honest view on how often this is worth repeating.
Straight Dealing
Published licence numbers. Everyone in this market claims DHA-licensed therapists. We let you check ours before anyone comes to your door.
One rate card, on this page. No travel charge, no night surcharge, no setup fee, no upsell.
You approve the therapist’s first name, photograph, specialisation, gender, language.
We will tell you to spend less when the shorter session is the right one, and we will tell you when a doctor is the right call instead of us.
Twenty-four hours, genuinely. After a late shift or before an early one, at the same price as midday.
A team, not an app. Booking platforms hand you to whoever accepts the job. We vet our therapists, stand behind them, and rebook you free if a session falls short.
The Streets Around Here
We work right across this middle stretch of the city: Al Barsha on one side and Dubai Hills on the other, with Umm Suqeim, Al Safa and Al Manara in between. Business Bay and Bur Dubai are both a short run and both are covered around the clock. Everywhere else is reachable through spa treatments at your address, and you can book home massage throughout Dubai on identical terms.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a home massage cost in Al Quoz?
Sessions start at AED 400 for sixty minutes of deep tissue or Balinese, and AED 450 for sixty minutes of Swedish, Thai, hot stone, or full body relaxation. Ninety minutes start at AED 550 and two hours at AED 700. Couples massage with two therapists starts at AED 800. Every price includes the therapist, table, oils, linens, setup and travel, with no night surcharge and no delivery fee.
Can I ask for my hands and forearms to be worked on?
Yes, and in this district it is the single most useful thing you can ask for. Say it in your booking message and again when the therapist asks what to focus on. Work through the forearm, palm, base of the thumb and fingers takes ten to fifteen minutes and gets the strongest response of anything we do for people who work with their hands. Almost nobody asks, because massage is generally sold as backs and shoulders.
I use power tools all day, and my hands tingle afterwards. What should I book?
Ninety minutes weighted to the forearms, hands, shoulders and upper back. Hours of vibration with a tight grip leave the forearms full and hard and the grip weaker than it should be. Massage helps with that muscular tightness. But if the tingling or numbness is still there the next morning, or it wakes you at night, see a doctor about it rather than working around it with massage.
I'm a mechanic. Does that change the session?
Yes, and it is worth saying at booking. Working under a car means lying on your back with both arms raised against gravity, and your head tilted forward, which loads the front of the shoulders, the chest, the neck and the upper back all at once. That is the reverse of the pattern most clients carry, so a therapist who knows it is coming plans the session differently.
What should I book after padel?
Ninety minutes weighted to the calves, hips, and your playing-side shoulder and forearm. Padel is lateral and stop-start, which loads the calves and Achilles differently from running, while smashes load the shoulder and every shot goes through the wrist. Book a day after a heavy session rather than the same night.
Do you come to workshop or studio units, not just homes?
Yes, provided there is a private space with a door. Tell us at booking that it is a workplace, and we will confirm that before the therapist sets out rather than arriving to find there is nowhere suitable. Give us the unit number, the street and the nearest landmark, because unit numbering across the industrial areas is difficult to follow.
I have a cut or a burn on my hand. Can I still have a massage?
Yes. Mention it when you book, and the area is simply avoided while the rest of the session goes ahead normally. It is not worth cancelling over.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe payment links, Botim, Ziina and bank transfer. Cash is accepted in UAE dirhams or in any major world currency including Indian and Pakistani rupees, Philippine pesos and Nepali rupees. Payment is taken after the session, never in advance.
Can I request a female therapist?
Yes, and it is guaranteed rather than requested. Gender preference is confirmed at booking, and the therapist named in your confirmation is the one who arrives. Male therapists are equally available.
Can I book a therapist who speaks my language?
Yes. Our team includes therapists trained in Indian, Filipino, Nepali, Thai, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and European traditions. Ask when you book, and we will match you where availability allows.
Is home massage legal in Dubai?
Yes, when the service is delivered by therapists licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Massage in the UAE is a regulated activity, and legitimate providers are required to work with DHA-licensed therapists rather than informal freelancers. Every therapist we send holds a valid DHA licence, and we publish their licence numbers on our therapist page so you can verify them yourself before you book.
How do I make sure the therapist finds me?
Send a location pin along with the address or unit number and the nearest landmark. Residential streets in Al Quoz are not always well signed, and industrial unit numbering follows no pattern a visitor can work out, so a pin is far more reliable than an address.
How much space do I need?
About two metres by two metres of clear floor, which almost anywhere in Al Quoz manages comfortably. If you are in a unit, a room with a door matters more than floor space.
Do you work late at night in Al Quoz?
Yes, twenty-four hours a day, every day, including public holidays, at the same rate as a daytime session.
